Interviewer: This is Richard Jacobs with myDUIattorney, and I’m here today to interview Jeff Witten. He’s a personal injury attorney out of Vancouver, Canada. How are you doing, Mr. Witten?
JW: Pretty good, Richard. How are you doing?
Interviewer: Very good. Very good. I really appreciate you taking the time to do the interview. I know you’ve got some interesting stuff to say.
JW: Oh, you know what? It’s my pleasure, man, my pleasure.
Interviewer: Great. OK. Well, if you’re ready, we’ll just get right into the questions.
JW: Let’s do it.
Interviewer: OK. And my first one is, what motivates you to be a personal injury attorney, and what kind of personal injury cases do you tend to work on, mostly?
JW: Well, I’ve always really enjoyed representing people against insurance companies. I guess it’s the David and Goliath complex. It’s a chance for the little guy to have his case heard in court or to settle against the billion-dollar institution. For me, it’s always been about helping all kinds of people who really would have a very hard time tackling a big company on their own.
In terms of personal injury cases, areas of personal injury, my practice is just auto injury cases. I help people who’ve been injured in a car accident, pedestrians, motorcyclists, cyclists, people in cars who get into crashes and get hurt. For me, that’s been something that I’ve tried to deal exclusively with since the mid-’90s.
